Ohakune Club AGM

Ohakune Club members enjoyed a good t uriti out at their annual general meeting held recently. Club president Ces Allerby said that the meeting went well, with 26 members present. In the election of officers Ces Allerby was elected

president, Noeline Churton, vice-president, and Catherine Dodd secretary-treasu-rer. The nine member committee consists of C. Frazer, R. Oliver, B. Battersby, L. Wensor, N. Columb, H. Brown, A. Briggs, B. Cornwell and S. Elfstrom. Club members will be in for a pleasant change in the near future as it is planned to

install devices to expel the smokey air around the bar area. Also planned is the replacement of the carpet in the bar lounge. More socials are planned as well as the continuation of the highly successful raffles, and these will hopefully absorb some of the costs.
