Wig and Lyn Whale of Ohakune celebrated their golden wedding on Saturday at the Ohakune Club. Many friends, including Ohakune Mayor Bill Taylor, and four generations of family helped them celebrate the occassion. He was also one of the main advocates for the development of the Ohakune Mountain Road.
