Heartless thief steals treasured videotapes

Clarrie and Ruth Enright who live in Islington Street Raetihi had a shock when they came home from a short break in Taupo last week. They found there had been a break-in and their video recorder had been taken. Even worse 30 videotapes, which recorded cherished family occasions and five years of Clarrie's logging work, had also gone. Clarrie said that losing the recorder was bad enough but it was at least replaceable. "But the tapes you just can't replace. There are weddings, family outings, as well as a record of my whole logging operation," he said. Mr Enright, who has worked in the logging industry since he was 17, said that he was willing to buy the tapes back. If the offender

rings Raetihi 54-388 Mr Enright is willing to arrange to leave payment for the tapes in a specified place.

So if there is an offender out there with a conscience what about giving Clarrie and Ruth Enright a break?
