Waimarino soccer lose to Cadets
In a fast and even match Waimarino United went down 2-1 to Cadets A at Waiouru on Sunday. Cadets had the edge in mid-field and as a result went ahead by 2-0. However, things might have been different had Tom Ball not missed an open goal just before halftime. Duane Dixon finally got a consolation goal for Waimarino 1 5 minutes from the end. With their extra edge Cadets deserved to win despite the strong team fielded by Waimarino. United did better than last time they played Cadets however, when they lost 4-1.
