Hockey umpiring concerns

Hockey games were held in Taihape over the weekend with Waiouru beating Ohakune mixed 16-0 and Utiku Old Girls winning 2-1 against Rae-, tihi Rebels. The game between Utiku and Raetihi was scrappy due o poor umpiring. Because

of younger players umpiring, the teams were disadvantaged. Had there been more umpire control, the game would have been a good one. At 10a.m. thisSaturdayat Ruapehu College Ohakune Rangers play Waiouru and at 1 1.15, Raetihi Rebels play Ruapehu College Girls.
