Rebels win

The Raetihi Rebels won the opening hockey competition of the season in Waiouru on Saturday. The Rebels number 2 team won by three points, with Ruapehu College girls and Waiouru second equal. Those in the winning team were: Alison Law, Enid Windle, Margy Berry, Cathy Francis, Ethne Carmichael, Claire Fahey. Renee Bloxham replaced Thelma Berry. Next Saturday, the Rebels play Waiouru at their home ground in Raetihi at 10am. After that the Ohakune team, Rangers, will play Taihape Boys.
