After 11 challenges,the Ohakune Ladies Bowling Club have retained the Simonson's Cup which they will now keep until challenges begin again next season. The club held their final challenge against Marton recently and kept the cup with a score of 25-10. When playing for the cup, the ladies have always been supported by other members of the club, with many members of the men's, as wellas the ladies teamscom-1 ing to watch. The outdoor bowling season is drawing to an end with the final tournament on 13 April at 9.30am.
