Citizens called upon to protect the family

Last week, ten locals of the Waimarino, including several ministers, lent a sympathetic ear to two representatives of the National Coalition of Goncerned Citizens (NZ), who explained their aims and asked for the support, encouragement and cooperation of citizens in this area. Under this leadership, groups of people are forming throughout the country, seeking to protect and uphold traditional values aimed at promoting the interest of the family unit, the individual, and integrity in government. This coming together is of

people committed to supporting individuals in positions of public office to the extent that they endeavour to protect and promote these same values and standards. They ask that people in every electorate be involved, and not merely concerned, in the issues and trends that threaten the good of New Zealand. Citizens in this area int£rested in receiving this movement's newsletter, and in so doing becoming more informed, and further able to assess its aims and methods, are invited to write to the Coalition of Concerned Citizens, PO Box 1 3455, Christchurch 1 .
