Halifax, Taumarunui visits Raetihi each month Next visit Thursday 20th March, Forappointments contact Price's Pharmacy 54-314 TAUMARUNUI COUNTY COUNCIL DIFFERENTIAL RATING SPECIAL ORDER THAT the Taumarunui County Council in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Rating Act 1967, the Local Government Act 1974, and all other acts and powers thereunto enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by way of special order to introduce a differential community general rate and a differential community improvement and development rate on all those lands comprising the national park community which will be divided into the various differential rating groups detailed in schedule 1. PURPORT OF SPECIAL ORDER Is to introduce a rating system that will allow for the rates to be apportioned between ratepayers in consideration of their use or likely use of services. The date on which the proposed differential rating system shall come into force is the 1st day of April 1986. Afully copy of the special order is open for public inspection without fee for a period of sixty (60)" days terminating on Thursday the 24th day of April 1986 at 4.30pm at the following places during ordinary office hours during the aforesaid period: Taumarunui County Council Office, Manuaute Street, Taumarunui, Post Office, National Park. That any person upon inquiry either in person at the public office of the Council at Manuaute Street, Taumarunui, or in writing addressed to the County Manager, shall be advised of the type of group or property to which a particular property will be al located. That any ratepayer may, at any time after the confirmation of the special order, object to the Council in accordance with Section 57 of the Rating Act 1967 against the allocation of a property to a particular type of group of property. That the aforegoing resolution be submitted for confirmation as a special order at an ordinary meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Manuaute Street, Taumarunui, on Thursday the 8th day of May 1986, commencing at 10.30am pursuant to the provisions of Section 113 of the Local Government Amendment Act 1974.
