College swimming sports
The Ruapehu College swimming sports were held last week at Burns Pool, Waiouru. Main results and champions were: Whanau points Huia 254, Kiwi 211, Tui 442, Weka 240. Champions Junior girls: J. Phillips, runner-up S. Condon. Intermediate girls: R. Phillips, runner-up K. Dobson. Senior girls: V. Pearce^, S. Binzeggar equal. Junior boys: M. Akurangi, runner-up C. Dempsey. Intermediate boys: Anthony Farmer, runner-up Adam Farmer. Senior boys: D. Rogers, runnerup G. Kaiwhare.
