Do you understand skin cancer?
Following a successful venture in Wanganui, the Wanganui-Rangitikei-Waimarino Centre of the Cancer Society is promoting skin cancer awareness in the Waimarino. A film titled 'The Only Skin Youll Ever Have', is to be screened free of charge at the Lions' Den, Arawa Street, Ohakune at 7.00pm on Thursday 20 February and at 10.00, 11.00am, 12.00, 1.00, 2.00 and 3,00pm on Friday 21 February. A good display ofjiterature on skin cancer will also be available and the execu-
tive officer of the Cancer Society for the area, Mr Robin Brassington, will be present at all sessions to give help and information on all aspects of cancer. The Wanganui-Rangitikei-Waimarino Centre of the . Cancer Society hopes, through education, to make the public more aware of skin cancer and of signs that may say you should see your doctor. Twenty minutes spent at the skin cancer film on Thursday 20 or Friday 21 February could well be profitable for many members of the Waimarino public.
