Marie's surprise
After returning from holiday recently, Marie Cranston of Raetihi had a pleasant surprise awaiting her. She was a major prizewinner in a Fresh Up competition winning a Healing Skylark 10-speed bicycle. Marie had entered the competition early last year and had forgotten all about it, so when her father-in-law Tony Cranston, casually mentioned the news to her on her return, she was delighted. Fresh Up could not contact her to tell her the news, so they rang her uncle, Jim Cranston, though he was
not very impressed as they rang him at nearly midnight! To enter the competition, Marie sent Fresh Up box tops away and answered a question about a Fresh Up television advertisement. The correct answers were put into a draw and Marie was one of those who won a bike as third prize. "I enter quite a few grocery competitions always hoping to win something," said Marie. The win has encouraged Marie and her friends to enter more competitions. Marie is now hoping to win a kitchen in a competition she has recently entered.
