Help for farmers

The uncertain future for the farming industry is concerning many farmers and others in the community. Peach, Cornwall and Partners of Raetihi are aware that many of their clients may not know where to go or what to do under the present circumstances and have decided to do something about it. They have organised a special evening for clients on Thursday 28 November at the Waimarino Club where a panel of speakers will discuss options open to farmers in diversification, improved economic efficiency and contingency planning to assist refinancing. The panel includes Bruce Neilson, farm advisor, Dr David Quinlivin, animal scientist, Ian Henshaw, of

the Rural Bank, and Bill Peach and Andrew Cornwall. Supper will be served after discussion and questions and there will be no cost to clients, however if they bring an extra person a charge of $ 1 5 will be made. Please ring Marie at the Peach, Cornwall office by Friday 22 November if you are interested.
