GYMNASTICS

Members of Turoa Tumblers grades 7 and 8 females competed at Palmerston North on 19 October. Kirsty Mcllroy won a bronze medal, and also won the bars exercise. Sarah Bennett competed well to be in the top 10. The Tumblers also made a club trip to Taupo on Saturday 26 October. Despite the snow and qold about 50, children aged from 6 to 13 had a great day. They played gymnastic games in the morning, had a fast outdoor barbecue, and later swam in the A.C. baths.
