The annual Mixed Foursomes Open Tournament was held at the Waimarino Golf Club on Sunday. There was a disappointing number of competitors with only 38 pairs taking part. However players from as far as Wanganui, Taumarunui and Taihape competed. The winners were: 36 holes gross: J. Magee and N Cranston; runners-up. R. Pearsor and J. Taylor who won the toss from Mr and Mrs Swarbrick. 36 holes medal: J. Ennis and P. Kenpedy: runners-up. Mr and Mrs Swarbrick. AM gross: Mrand Mrs Cranston: runners-up. N. and K. Cranston after a toss with B. Collerton and H. Booth. AM nett: Mr and Mrs Berridge after a toss with Mr and Mrs Cotter: runners-up. Mr and Mrs Cotter from Taumarunui. AM par: Mr Benson and Mrs A. Pritt after a toss with M. McKinley and L. Wickham from Wanganui. PM gross: B. Collerton and H. Booth from Taihape; runners-up, T. Spry and C. Greenwood. PM nett: J. Windle and C. Imhoff; runners-up, T. Tapp and E. Windle. PM stableford: Mr and Mrs Geraghty; runners-up, Mr and Mrs Brown from Taumarunui. Special consolation (for the most golf): Mr and Mrs Bright. 2s: Mr and Mrs Goldfinch, J. Magee and N. Cranston, P. Fitz and M. Brown, Mr and Mrs Brown, M. McKinley and L. Wickham. Two 2s: R.
