SKIFIELD SURVEY

Bruce Jefferies, chief ranger at Tongariro National Park Headquarters in Whakapapa

Village, asks for the return of completed questionnaires from those people who have been asked to help with the Whakapapa Skifield Survey. "The response so far has been fairly disappointing but we must get more completed questionnaires in to get a truly representative range of views about the future management of the Whakapapa Skifield," he said last week. Completed questionnaires should be placed in one of the collection boxes located on the skifield or along the Bruce Road.
