FOUR LOCAL MARKSMEN SELECTED

Four local small-bore rifle marksmen have been selected to represent the Wanganui region in a series of team shoots to be competed for at Okoia on 15 and 22 August. Those selected for the open event are: John Scobie (open No. 1 team, 20 shot); Lyn Maru (B grade, 20 shot); Mike Beytagh (B grade, 20 shot); Bob McGinniss (C grade, 10«shot). Lyn Maru has also been selected to shoot in the women's 20shot event. All are members of the Waimarino Small-bore Rifle Club.
