Mr Peter Elliot from Auckland cross-country skiing with his son Duncan at Turoa last weekend. Mr Elliot came to Ohakune with a party from St. Adins youth group in Remuera, Auckland, with the intention of tramping over the mountain. But they were unable to do so because of snowfalls, so took to skiing instead.
