Three hurt in crash

Three youngsters were admitted to hospital on Friday night after the vehicle they were travelling in left the road on State Highway 49A. The car, a Ford Escort containing six people, was travelling towards Raetihi. Jimmy Sampson of Ohakune and the driver of the vehicle Lex McGinniss of Ohakune, were both admitted to Wanganui Hospital, and Paul Jones of Raetihi was admitted to Waimarino Hospital. All have since been discharged. Other passengers in the vehicle were Neil Fredericksen of Raetihi, Raewin Evans of Rangataua and Shane Sutton of Ohakune.
