A win for Rebels

Raetihi Rebels met Major Sport hockey team on Saturday and they were lucky to come out on top 2-1.

Raetihi took a long time to settle down and it was only after repeated attacks that they eventually scored. For Rebels, Debbie Lilburn played a safe game but once again it was Enid Windle who kept the opposition's defence on their toes. Half-time saw the score at I - 1 and when the teams took to the field again it was obvious that they were both out to score the winning goal. Charmaine Green-was the scorer of both goals for Rebels.
