Raetihi Bowls
The annual RSA Lynch Shield Bowling Tournament was held last Saturday at the Raetihi Bowling Club. The winning team was the Raetihi RSA team of L. Birchall skip, B. Drinkwater number 3, G. Harvey 2, J. Weir lead. Raetihi won in a play-off with Turangi. The Turangi team members were: Murray
Leatham skip, Des Smith number 3, Jo Rooney 2, Graham Rowell lead. On Sunday, 14 teams took part in an open tournament. The winners were M. Drinkwater skip, D. Condon number 3, R. Cuff 2, J. Harrison lead. The runners-up, after a play-off, were the members of Pat" Whale's Ohakune team.
