$½ million road works
Over half a million dollars will be spent on Pipiriki Road, it was revealed £|t Thursday 's meeting of Waimarino County Council. Improvements being carried out on the road are focused on a 13km section between Raetihi and the Waipuna turn-off. The figure of $540,000 includes expenditure since ' 1983 and spending for the period ending 1986. About $ 1 60,000 will come from Waimarino County funds, with the balance coming from Ministry of Works roading funds and from the National Roads Board.
