Polo carnival
The Waimarino Polo Crosse Club held their association day and a 'one chukka' carnival near Raetihi last weekend. The Kakatahi team won the A grade title and the runners-up were the Wanganui team. Winners of the B grade title were Kakatahi number 2 team. Runners-up were the
Waimarino team. Winners of the C grade were the Waitotara players. Individual prizes: A grade — 1st B. Neilson, 2nd J. Law, 3rd J. Highland. Best B grade combination: R. Avery. Best C grade combination: C. Davis. One chukka carnival: B grade teams — 1st Wanganui, 2nd Waitotara.
