Tui dead

Prince Tui Teka, who died near Dargaville last week, will be greatly missed by his many friends in Ohakune. "The Prince" visited and performed at the Ohakune Hotel on several occasions and was known by many in the area. Tui had been recovering after a heart attack and had lost a great deal of weight according to his booking agent, Mr Richard Brown. However, he collapsed and died on Tuesday after performing for the first time since he left hospital in Ruawai, near Dargaville last year.
