Ohakune wins bowls

Ohakune won by a very close 18 to 17 score in the Puck Cup tournament against Wanganui East last Wednesday 9 January. There was a draw on the 2 1 st end, then Ohakune won the last shot. The game was played in beautiful conditions and the match was entertaining for both players and spectators. Monday 14th January was the first night for twilight bowls in Ohakune. These evening matches, which are popular with business people who work during the day, will now be held every Monday beginning at 6.00pm.
