Checkpoint warning
Waimarino residents can expect to see the setting up of 'Checkpoints' in the region according to Grahame Cole, Ohakune's traffic officer. There were 27 people stopped last Thursday 8 December with one of them being suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. The Bulletin reminds readers to be sensible over this Christmas period. Don't drink and drive.
