CARTOON CLUB

Neville Logan's Cartoon Club which appears in the Waimarino Bulletin now has a membership of 65 local children. According to two of its original members, the cartoons are eagerly awaited each week by both themselves and their school mates. Most children apparently cut out the cartoon and colour it in. Others copy from it to learn how to draw the cartoons better. Neville Logan, who lives in Christchurch, is very pleased with the response frdm the Waimarino children particularly to the colour-ing-in competition he held recently. Should any children be interested in joining the club, send a stamped addressed envelope and the coupon on page 13 to Cartoon Club, Box 22799 High Street, Christchurch.
