Television front-person Belinda Evans and a TV camera crew were in Ohakune recently to make a 10-minute segment for the Wellington regional programme 'Today Tonight'. The programme will look at the potential of Ohakune and the Waimarino as a summer resort for tourists. Several local businessmen were interviewed during the filming sequences shot in and around town. The new 'Giant Carrot' site provided the introduction to the programme which, at time of going to press, has not yet been screened.
