22 September. Excellent course conditions with spring weather for a small field playing a stableford competition. Best were S. Magee 40, B. Drinkwater and R. Wise 37. 2's by M. Kennedy and B. Drinkwater. 23 September. Similar conditions for a good field playing the annual Captain v President teams match and a stableford competition for the Captain's Trophy. The teams match resulted in a tie, 1 3 wins each with the remainder halved. The Captain's* Trophy was won by C. Webb with 44 points. Other junior score rs were: T. Geraghty40, R. Wise 39, R. Te Moana 38, K. Tapp, A. Robinson, D. Blackburn and R. Baddeley all 37. Senior: R. Southee 42, D. Trotter and J. Ennis 40, N. Cranston 37. The only two on a nominated hole was recorded by N. Clarke. This most enjoyable day concluded with a light meal in the clubhouse.
