NEW HEALTH INSPECTOR

Mr Graham Gillespie of Wanganui was invited to introduce himself to councillors at last month's meeting of the Ohakune Borough Council as the new health inspector. He explained that he had been seconded from the Wanganui office of the Department of Health and this was a temporary appointment. Mr Gillespie told council he had been employed as a health inspector for a total of seven years, the past five as a supervisor. He would endeavour to present a quarterly report to Council (December, March, June and September) but would also be available at any other time for advice and action.
