Warwick Goile and Mary Anne Gill took out the men's and women's titles at the Waimarino Squash Club championships held over the weekend. Goile proved far too strong for Rod Gill in the final beating him by 9-3, 9-6, 9-7. In a one-sided ladie's final Mary Anne Gill defeated Aroha Irwin 9-0, 9-3, 9-5. In a men's round-robin competition held for novice players, Raetihi businessman, Stefan loannidis, proved too good for his opponents.
