Another and perhaps final instalment in the 2-year saga of Ohakune's 'Giant Carrot' is due to be enacted later this month when it will be finally unveiled in what has been described as a 'spectacular' ceremony. Final approval has been given for this fibreglass replica to be erected in Rochfort Park beside SH49 and foundations were poured last week. Here Chris Lyon and Graham Murdie are seen directing the pour in preparation for the unveiling ceremony on Saturday 29 September.
