Survey participants thanked
Over the last nine months I have been involved in a study of the Turoa Skifield. I have attempted to determine the social, economic and physical impacts resulting from the development of the field. This study has involved surveys of local residents, business folk and skiers.
I would like to express my thanks to all those who were involved in these surveys and to all those who have assisted me in other ways. I am presently involved in writing up my findings and expect to have finished my study by the end of October. It is my hope to travel back to the Waimarino district soon after that date and to make the findings of my study available to the community by various means. Once again, thank you for your co-operation and assistance.
