■■mimi niu hiiiiimii ^ THE BARGAIN! Well, the snow has come at last and you have been able to get on those great skis you picked up at one of the second hand saies — the skis which were the REAL BARGAIN! Your boots were new though — from one of those out of town shops whose tfavelling salesmen appear how and again when the first sprinkling of the white stuff appears on the mountain. They were a REAL BARGAIN too at least $100.00 off. So, off you went on your REAL BARGAIN ski gear. Had a few problems with the boots, hurt here and there, and your toes are a bit black. So you put through a phone call to the shop but they didn't seem very interested and, anyway, that salesman was away selling surfboards to the Eskimoes — he heard there was a shortage of them in Alaska and went off to sell some REAL BARGAINS up there. Really, too, the skis are a bit long and stiff for you — still, you might grow into them, and let's face it, they were a REAL BARGAIN. Pity you didn't realise the bindings were set pretty high as the previous owner was an expert skier (and you're not) and of course you didn't think (or know) to have them checked by an expert ski shop and get them set to your skiing ability. What a shame. So, here you are, sitting with your leg in plaster reading this advertisement and wondering what sort of day your mate is having on the mountain. No, he didn't get a REAL BARGAIN but he got a pretty good deal from ROY TURNER SKI SHOP at National Park. Brand new skis, brand new bindings, both at a good price and all waxed and tuned and bindings mounted and calibrated by their expert ski mechanic — i verything just right. True, he did have a slight problem with his new boots but it was all sorted out very quickly by their experienced boot saies staff — they even sat your mate down in front of the colour telly to watch the Olympics and gave him tea and bikkies while they worked on the sore spot. As far as he is concerned you can have your second hand gear and your travelling salesmen who don't want to know you once they have your dollars. But still, you got a REAL BARGAIN ... didn't you? bon't be fooled by the REAL BARGAINS. Ski equipment is an investment and cannot be sold by just anyone — see your local experts for skilled and professional attention — see ROY TURNER SKI SHOP at National Park f NEWZEALJ^ Buddo Street P.O.
