College business team in competition

Profit and loss accounts for the final preliminary round of the ICL Business Management Game for schools were: Palmerston North Boys $3,815,630; Melville High School $7,851,480; Rangiora High School $7,837,260; Ruapehu College of Ohakune $8,315,840; Havelock North High School $7,331,550. Having won this round the Ruapehu College team is now competing in a semifinal against Rotorua Girls High, Otorohanga College, Paraparaumu College and Shirley Boys High. After one third of this game the Ruapehu College team is in fourth place. This is still early in the competition however and the benefits from much of the expenditure made early in the game are only realised as the game proceeds. The final result will not be known until late August.

Team members are Linda Davies, Jon Horne, Warrick Smith, Nick Vincent and Mr Laurenson (Supervising Teacher).
