SCHOOL RUGBY
A meeting of the Ohakune Saturday morning schoolboy rugby association was held in the Ruapehu College library on Wednesday 27 June. The main business was to discuss combining with the Waiouru association for the rest of the season. Both associations are low in numbers in various grades and working together seemed to be a logical solution. This motion was passed and games will be played at Waiouru and Ohakune. Nine parents attended but there was some concern expressed with regard to transport arrangements. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 25 July in the library at Ruapehu College at 7.00pm.
