SMOKING

At a recent meeting of the Ruapehu College Board of Governors a motion was passed banning smoking in all school buildings. This move came originally from the pupils who presented it to the Board through the staff. The ban applies to all night classes and outside organisations using school buildings. It is expected that the community will support and comply with this forward thinking move by pupils, staff and Board of Governors.
