NATIONAL PARK NEWS
A former Thames Valley Dairy Company three bed roomed house owned by Mr Leong Hamilton, arrived in National Park at 9.50am on Thursday 21 June accompanied by traffic officer Bruce Carr from Tihoi. The $98,000 articulated Mack and two International trucks were loaded to capacity with piles and building materials. The party of six employed by Johnson Sons House Removal Company Limited, left Hamilton at 1am and travelled the western access to their destination, Eastern Frances Subdivision in Buddo Street. Craft Evenings For a period of four weeks the various skills and crafts have proven successful for the number of adults who have attended the coeducational classes. These are held at the school from 7 to 9pm on a Monday. All interested parties, most welcome. Cubs Three 8-year old cubs, Peter Oliver, William Moana, Che Barlow and cub mistress Julie Miessen, attended a very successful Christian movement camp in Ngaruawahia on Friday 22 to Sunday 24 June. For the excited boys it was their first time away from home and the unforgettable experiences they encountered, they look forward to repeating on future cub camps.
