INDOOR BOWLS

This week the Centre Junior (under-18) singles were held in Taihape. Two of our lads from Ohakune went — Michael Edwards and Tony Parris. There were six entries — two from Mangaweka, two from Taihape and two from Ohakune. Michael came out the winner and was presented with a cup and a medal. This is T ony 's first year at Indoor Bowls and he also performed creditably. Michael plays indoor and outdoor soccer, squash, badminton, skiing, indoor bowls and tennis. The club is very proud of him. The next fixture is the King Country Challenge to be held at Taihape next Sunday.
