Ohakune again proved too good for Taihape in two return matches played at the Taihape College grounds on Sunday 10 June. ' In the senior game Taihape were defeated by 7 goals to nil. Scorers for Ohakune were Mark Seebeck, Anthony Callaghan (2), Junior Kaata (2), and Alex Peddieson (field goal and penalty goal). The junior game was won by Ohakune 1-0 with the goal scored by Lance Callaghan. Both games were played in almost continuous rain but all the teams played well and produced some exciting football.
