Proud mother
Mary Anne Gill with baby daughter Caroline Marie who was born on Saturday 2 June at the Wanganui Hospital. As readers will be aware Mary Anne has been writing for the Waimarino Bulletin in recent weeks since she and her husband Rod arrived in Ohakune from Auckland. This photograph was taken after mother and daughter had returned to the Waimarino Hospital where the quality of nursing and attention to patients' needs made such a favourable impression (see 'Report on the Waimarino Hospital').
