Raetihi's Town Plan
At last montlis meeting of the Raetihi Borough Councii, Mayor Workman said that. "a lot of preliminary work had already been done on the Town Plan and hopefully the scheme would be available for public perusal, comment and objections in about two month's time." Mayor Workman said that the Borough Councii
hopes to be able to accommodate the development plans of all those who want to start up various entecprises in Raetihi. The value of building permits has been high in the past month or two (April's figure was $103,953) "and there are a lot more in the pipeline" said Cr. Tom Punch, chairman of the Town Planning Committee.
