PERMITS
Building permits issued in Ohakune for the month of April 1 984 totalled $360,952 — down $120,000 on last April. Of the seven permits issued this April permits valued between $2000 for a sauna garden shed in Arawa Street to a new ski lodge — South Mountain Lodge — in Matai Street, Turoa Alpine Village, valued at $195,300. This year's figure of $360,952 for seven building permits compares with the April 1983 figure of $481,415 when 14 permits were issued.
