Message from Mayor of Raetihi
It is a pleasure to be given this opportunity to congratulate the Bulletin on the occasion of its first birthday and commend the editor and staff responsible for the production of a darn good newspaper. The Bulletin is an important vehicle of communication in the Waimarino and the local bodies concerned who require good public relations with their residents and ratepayers appreciate the valuable role this publication is providing. Although the move to tabloid form is necessary it is nevertheless a shame that it cannot now be printed locally • here in Raetihi where, thanks to the efforts of the Raetihi Printing Co, a local newspaper (the Waimarino Weekly) was revived and published six years earlier and where, for the past year, the Bulletin has been printed. Now as the 'newlook' tabloid Waimarino Bulletin we look forward to its continued success in the future.
