When congratulating all concerned Bill Morrissey said "It is very gratifying to see so many parents here tonight and I am truly honoured to be here to see National Park receive its very first venturer unit," said Bill Morrissey when congratulating all concerned. He also presented 17 year old Tracey Pakau with the 'Endeavour Award', for community involvement and services and also for her fund raising efforts and her
expedition to New Caledonia in 1982. In achieving this award Tracey is half way to attaining the Queen's Award. Mt View Netball Club The following teams have been selected: Ladies Team: Coach/player Dianne Legge, Trish Greer, Moana Parsons, Fiona Graham, Tracey and Brenda Pakau, Liz Arger. Mens Team: Kevin Lind, Peter and Nicky Grahamn, Clark Lynghaug, Dion Nakutu, Hamish Todd, Jim Carroll. Sponsors — Liza Graham and Murray Griffin.
