Racing

This Saturday sees the most important 1600 metre race on the season's racing calendar, the Castlemaine Easter Handicap to be run at Ellerslie. Now without wanting to appear too parochial I would suggest that Coronal would be I worth a dollar each way. Most will remember how unlucky this fellow was at Auckland during the Christmas carnival, and remember also that he has won his last two starts in the Central Districts and won them well too. His price would be a good one too. Trained at Feilding by John Mudgway, Coronal won two starts back over 1600 metres and then last week came out over 1200 metres and gave his opponents a thrashing, so his lead up form is excellent. Remember Bully tips them first, and you will read it in the Bulletin.
