RIVER PARK REPORT AVAILABLE
The report prepared by the Director-General of Lands on the proposal to establish a new national park along the Wanganui River is now available for public perusal. The report, which includes an analysis of the many public submissions received, was recently presented to the National Parks and Reserves •uthority for their perusal. Copies of the report on
the proposed Wanganui River National park can be viewed at any district office of the Lands and Survey Department as well as at local authority offices and public libraries in and around the Taumarunui/ Wanganui area. A limited number of copies can also be purchased from the Department of Lands and Survey in Wellington at a cost of $15.
