Rangataua reprise

I support 'Turk' and congratulate him on his letter. Why does the Waimarino County Council keep us 30 years behind the rest of the 'C ounty in the upkeep of our streets and roads? The Rata Marie Road' is appalling to say the least, not to mention the busy Mangateitei Road. I recently drove up there behind four vehicles. The metal scraped the bottom of my car and to dodge the road's potholes I had to make a similar motion to that of a slalom skier. The streets, should they bear that title, were used many years ago as bullock tracks, and as yet remain unimproved, when above water. I have heard a member of the County Council staff remark, and I quote, "Ooh I wouldn't live in that hole." Come on county do your bit. What are our rates being used for?
