BOWLS

• The Ohakune Bowling club members played some good games in Wanganui during the 'Champion of Champions' tournament but failed to reach the finals. • The Club wishes to reminc those who participated in the recent Twilight Bowls, and others, that an open tournament will be held next Sunday afternoon 18 March. • Prizes to the value of $300 can be won in a tournament sponsored by Dalgety Crown scheduled for Saturday 24 March. Proceeds from the $3 entry fee will go towards restoring the kitchen which was damaged in last year's fire.
