NEW POWER CHARGES
Domestic consumers of electricity within the Wanga-nui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board area will be paying increased charges from 1 May. The increase to the average domestic consumer will be about $1.60 per month and is in line with the new bulk supply tariff from the New Zealand Electricity Department. Details of King Country Electric Power Board rates will be published next week.
